We Need Your Help
Killeen Creators is a community service organization with a mission to combat food insecurity, PTSD, and disenfranchisement while building individual and community capacity through our Community Garden, ART of Recovery, and Civic Engagement initiatives.
Our first priority has been getting Community Gardens established and producing locally grown fruits and vegetables in food deserts throughout North Killeen. Through the generosity of our founding sustaining members, we have FOUR communal Community Gardens established where we teach gardening and provide barrier free food and community.
Our second priority has been establishing a Safe Space Studio for people in Mental Health and/or Substance Use Recovery, where we can relax, create, and develop healthier hobbies, habits, and community connections.
In order to sustain our Community Gardens and Recovery Studio, we need your help! Whether you can contribute $5 or $500, EVERY dollar counts!!! We are especially grateful for everyone who chooses to become a Sustaining Member by committing to a monthly contribution. With known Sustaining Membership contributions, we can best plan ahead and ensure sustainability.
THANK YOU for contributing to safety, well-being, and sustainability of our neighbors, our community, and our world.
