Killeen Creators envisions a community where everyone is empowered to reach their full potential. We believe in the individual and collective power to heal ourselves and our communities. Our goal is to advocate for safer communities, combat disenfranchisement and educate individuals about civic engagement as much as we can.
Our Civic Empowerment Program exists to help increase civic involvement (such as voting registration events), leadership advancement in our marginalized communities, city beautification & public art projects and mentor individuals interested in local politics. We also campaign to increase voter turnouts in local and federal elections.
At Killeen Creators we aim to inspire the Killeen community to enact positive and crucial changes needed on a state, county, city, and neighborhood level. We want to provide a voice for change that helps heal and be a leading example of dedication to peace, commitment to others, societal advancement and authenticity in action.
